Do the joinery properly
The parts nobody sees are the parts that fail first. We build the frame as carefully as the finish.
About us
Since 2014 we have designed and built furniture under one roof — where the people who sell it are the people who made it.
Our mission
To make furniture worth keeping — built properly, priced fairly, and sold directly by the people who made it.
Our vision
To be the manufacturer South African homes turn to first when they want something built to fit, and built to last.
Our values
Four principles that settle most arguments on the workshop floor.
The parts nobody sees are the parts that fail first. We build the frame as carefully as the finish.
If something we built fails under normal use, we fix it. A guarantee is only worth the willingness to honour it.
If a timber is wrong for your use, or a deadline isn't realistic, we say so before you order — not after.
Offcuts become smaller pieces, and we buy timber in sizes that suit what we build rather than what's cheapest.
Our journey
Started building headboards to order from a rented unit, delivering in a single vehicle.
Took on a larger floor with dedicated cutting, assembly and finishing bays.
Brought sofa and headboard upholstery under our own roof to control quality end to end.
Began delivering and assembling countrywide with our own crews rather than third-party couriers.
Everything we sell is still cut, joined and finished on our own floor.
Our craftsmanship
We started in 2014 with two workbenches and a single delivery bakkie. Today a team of 24 craftsmen build every sofa frame, headboard and dining table we sell — under one roof, where we can put our name on the joinery.
Timber is chosen board by board and moisture-checked before it reaches the saw. Warped or knotted stock is rejected at intake.
Frames are cut to the millimetre and joined with glued, screwed and dowelled joints — never staples alone.
Three sanding passes before stain or paint, then a hand-applied sealer that brings out the grain and protects the surface.
Every piece is loaded, levelled and inspected against the order sheet before it is wrapped for delivery.
Meet the team
Every order passes through these hands before it reaches your home.
Production
Runs the floor schedule and signs off every order before it is wrapped.
Joinery
Sets out frames and trains the bench team on our joint standards.
Finishing
Owns sanding, stain matching and the final sealer coat.
Sales & quotes
Turns your measurements into a drawing and a fixed price.
Our quality commitment
Every piece carries a five-year guarantee against workmanship defects. That is only possible because we control the whole chain — timber selection, joinery, finishing and delivery all happen under our own roof, so there is nobody else to point at when something goes wrong.
Why choose us
Buying direct from the workshop means better materials, a fairer price, and someone accountable for every joint.
No importing, no reselling. Every piece is cut, joined, sanded and finished by our own team in our Johannesburg workshop.
Solid pine, oak and meranti, powder-coated steel, and upholstery-grade fabrics — specified for daily use, not showroom life.
Send us a room measurement or a sketch. We build to your dimensions, finish and fabric at no design fee.
Every order is inspected before it leaves the floor and carries a 5-year guarantee against workmanship defects.
Delivered nationwide by our own crew, carried in, assembled in the room, and the packaging taken away.
